  2. Super ResEdit!!!

  4. This is a severly enhanced version of Apple's™ ResEdit
  5.  
  6. What's different?
  7.  
  8. Well, Super ResEdit will let you view code, not in hex, but it will de- and recompile
  9. all hex code so all you c++ hackers can go to town
  10.  
  11. What else?
  12.  
  13. Super ResEdit will let you play sounds and adjuts sounds(all) without extracting them to a different format.

  15. That's IT?????
  16. nope, did you ever want to edit a datat fork but didn't have the know how?
  17. now all you have to do is double click the <df> resource. done!

  19. WELL, how do I make it work????

  21. easy.. just drop the "forker" extension into the system folder(restart), Put Super ResEdit
  22. where you would like it and go to town!

  24. Trouble shooting...
  25. If S.R.E (Super ResEdit) has trouble opening a file:
  26.  
  27. 1) Assure that the file is not in use
  28. 2) The preferences file....
  29. OK the perf file is a pain with this version, so if it gives you problems, just 
  30. rename another preferences file to resedit perfs, (or what ever i called the silly thing)
  31. and run S.R.E
  32. you may get an error about the perfs file, but just ignore it and go on.

  35. All Mods to ResEdit making it SuperResEdit were okayed by Apple™ for me to do.
